    “As coauthor of the https://bsppjournals.onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1111/mpp.13450 publication that concluded that P. pseudosyringae is native to Europe, I endorse the results of the study but also highlight that additional sampling or updated methods might change these conclusions. Whether the species is native to California or introduced, there is one lineage that has been moved extensively throughout California, ostensibly through anthropogenic means.”
