What is your job title and what do you do?
Special Investigator. I inspect livestock feed mills, conduct Food Safety Modernization Act inspections and conduct Tissue Residue Inspections.
How do you work for the California food supply?
By sampling feed and inspecting feed manufacturers I ensure that meat, milk and eggs are safe to eat.
What do you enjoy most about your job?
Interaction with industry and being able to help them with issues that might arise and learning different things about agriculture daily.
What is your favorite pastime, book, movie, or show?
My favorite pastime is working our cows with my daughter or helping friends with their cattle.
