Small Farms Conference
What: Join us this February in Davis for the 31st annual California Small Farm Conference. This gathering is where farmers, ranchers, and local food advocates gather to explore emerging information on sustainable agriculture, work to bridge field and fork, sharpen their skills, network, and give voice to those growing a resilient food system.
When: February 22-23, 2019. February 22 includes pre-conference training and farm tours. Find FREP’s table at the conference on February 23.

Irrigation and Nutrient Management Meeting
What: The Irrigation and Nutrient Management Meeting is an educational event held in the Central Coast by the University of California Cooperative Extension, Monterey County. The half-day meeting will cover topics such as organic production, irrigation and nitrogen management of vegetable crops, the mitigation of pesticide and sediment runoff, and more. To wrap up in the afternoon, there will be a grower panel discussing on-farm nitrogen management practices.
