The FREP grant program uses a two-phase annual process. Phase I, the submission of concept proposals, is now open!<\/p>\n<p>Each year, research priorities are released in December with the Request for Proposals (RFP). Proposals may focus on research and\/or education projects to provide growers and the industry with cost-effective practices to improve the efficient use of fertilizers and reduce environmental impacts. For details about this year\u2019s priority areas, visit the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cdfa.ca.gov\/is\/ffldrs\/frep\/competitivegrantprogram.html\">FREP Grant website<\/a>.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Concept proposals are reviewed by the Fertilizer Inspection Advisory Board\u2019s Technical Advisory Subcommittee (TASC). The TASC is a diverse group of agricultural experts and fertilizer industry representatives.
