Registration is now open for the 33rd Annual Nutrient Management Conference, hosted by the California Department of Food and Agriculture’s (CDFA) Fertilizer Research and Education Program (FREP) and Western Plant Health (WPH). This year’s conference includes a pre-conference tour of Mid Valley Disposal’s composting facility in Kerman, CA. There will be a demonstration of THOR food waste de-packer; green waste sort line, grinding/feedstock blending, Sustainable Generation composting bunker system and compost screening operations. The tour is October 28 from 1pm-3pm.
