A two-day course focusing on the basics of irrigation. The course covers soil-plant-water relationships, flow measurement, and irrigation scheduling. A voluntary test is administered at the end of day two. If passed, the attendee receives a certificate indicating they are an ITRC Certified Irrigator I.
The sessions will focus on optimizing resource use and long-term land sustainability: Continuing Education & Contact Credits: The workshop has pending CCA (Certified Crop Adviser) and CDFA INMP (Irrigation and Nitrogen Management Plan) credits.

The course covers basic pipeline hydraulics, irrigation efficiency, salinity management for drip/micro-irrigation and drainage, frost protection, and sprinkler irrigation.
