    Certified Irrigator I Workshop

    January 19 @ 8:00 am - January 20 @ 5:00 pm
    California Polytechnic State University San Luis Obispo, California

    A two-day course focusing on the basics of irrigation. The course covers soil-plant-water relationships, flow measurement, and irrigation scheduling. A voluntary test is administered at the end of day two. If passed, the attendee receives a certificate indicating they are an ITRC Certified Irrigator I.

    A two-day course building on the fundamentals from the Certified Irrigation I course. The course covers basic pipeline hydraulics, irrigation efficiency, salinity management for drip/micro-irrigation and drainage, frost protection, and sprinkler irrigation. A voluntary test is administered at the end of day two. If passed, the attendee receives a certificate indicating they are an ITRC Certified Irrigator II.
