The California Department of Food and Agriculture (CDFA) announces updated Livestock Veterinary Feed Directive (VFD) online training.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The training has been organized by major species (swine, bovine and poultry) and is intended to provide ongoing educational resources to California feed distributors and other industry stakeholders to better understand the history, regulations and verification process of a complete and accurate VFD order.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This online training is the result of a collaborative effort between CDFA\u2019s Antimicrobial Use and Steward\u00adship (AUS) Program<\/a>, CDFA\u2019s Safe Animal Feed Education (SAFE) Program<\/a> and UC Davis partners at the Food Animal Residue Avoidance Databank (FARAD).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
